I wish Andy Lee all the best luck; I was a fan of his several years ago (when the whole boxing world was hyping him up) and am still a fan. I'd like to see Andy fight unbeaten Scotsman Craig McEwan and/or rematch Brian Vera in the short future. Btw, is Andy still being trained by Emmanuel Stewart?..Comment

Andy will never fight for the commonwealth as he fought for ireland in the olympics so that rules him out. if he wins this fight that puts him in with a shot against macklin for the EBU mw title or if macklin gets his shot at a world title andy gets to fight for vacant title....Comment

The republic of ireland is not part of the commonwealth so we dont compete for their belts. I know andy was born in london but he chose to fight for ireland rather than england as his parents are irish born and he to considers himself irish. Do i see andy fighting for a commonwealth belt? i dont think so.......Comment

You said fighting for Ireland at the Olympics ruled him out of fighting for the Commonwealth title. It doesnt. He qualifies to fight for the title - but like I said I doubt he would fight for it - however, saying that he wouldnt be the first Irishman to fight for a British or Commonwealth title.Comment
