He was probably the most fun fighter to watch. His antics and his un orthodox fighting style made him very exiting to watch. I heard rumors about him fighting some hungarian guy but nothing else since.

I do hope he comes back. No matter how much you love or hate Prince Naseem, you gotta admit he's fun to watch. I don't care if becomes a contender again, I'll just watch him purely for entertainment.

We keep hearing rumors every few months that he is coming back, last i heard he was coming back in Summer probably at Lightweight. However having seen him on the front of Boxing News a couple of years ago when he was way over weight i kinda figured he probably wouldn't be coming back.
I think a lot of his style was built on confidence that he was good enough not to get hit, when that confidence was gone after the Barrera match he just didnt see the same anymore. Mind you he has only had one fight since loosing to Barrera.

naz will never come back. it would take him 2 years to lose enough weight to make welterweight ! 3yrs on he will only be slower, fighting in a bigger weight division and so will not be as devestating as he was, and will have lost his supreme confidence.

I think he will try to do a comeback and will want to be taken seriously but, will find out that it is alot harder than he thought. I did read an article ( I can't remember where, somewhere on the web) that read that he is training and that he is planning a comeback probably in at lightweight. It would be interesting to see if he could make it back. Just like alot of you have already said, love him or hate him, he is(was) one of the most entertaining fighters we have seen in some time.

nah cant see it happening chief, cant see him stepping into the ring in anything other than a glorified exhibition match ever again. guy made a lot of money and had the sense to hold on to most of it. reflexes must be shot to pieces by now, and it was only reflexes that stopped him getting a beating (til barrera). it was great while it lasted but the guy lacked the heart of a champ and should never have left bredan ingle.

I dont like Naseem, but yeah he is fun to watch. It was especially fun to see Barrera beat him. I had to say that....
With that out of the way, does anyone know why he quit in the first place? Or was it just a break from boxing that never ended?
