My friend The Man inspired me to start this thread when he talked about Mundine knocking out Soliman. How good was this guy? And is he retired or still fighting? Apart from that KO loss he had 2 other good and close fights with Mundine and rocked him in the third one I believe. I never knew much about him, I heard him thanks to my appreciation of Winky Wright. His reputation is, at least according to TM, that he is hard to knock down and out.

Mundine is the only ever fighter to knock out the tricky Soliman. Winky Wright, Enrique Ornelas, Sakio Bika, Raymond Joval, and Howard Eastman all fought Soliman and cound't KO him, thats pretty good win, he also beat Soliman twice on points.
Some people also think Sam beat the then #2 P4P Winky Wright, Sam also holds wins over the likes of Sakio Bika and Enrique Ornelas.
Sam in his prime was a goof fighter, and gave Winky fights. A prime Mundine knocked him out, what a win
