He might as well join the floor huggers since he spends most of his time on the canvas anyways.
    That was a low blow.

I hope he sorts his career out, exciting fighter.

Even if he gets KO'd in his next 10 fights I will still support him though

      Haha I couldn't help it.

Good luck to him whatever he chooses, I think he is a true gentlemen in this sport, just ashame he is not as good as he thought.

Agreed, they say some fighters can't come back from a KO loss.

I hope Enzo can get his career back on track

Didn't he get KO'd by Lee Swaby though?

To be fair, Maccarinelli basically gassed against Ola Afolabi. Sure he got hurt in the 3rd, but if he had the legs to stick a jab out there and work at range Afolabi would have been completely shut-out on the cards.

Macca is alright, at least fringe world-class. Inactivity hurt him, he didn't have the gas in the tank for whatever reason.

He did get KO'd by Swaby but that was at the start of his career, when he's said he wasn't in top shape.

Mentally, getting KO'd in 2 while knowing inside you were at your best can be very hurtful.

He did gas against Afolabi, there were problems in camp, with Enzo Calzaghe having the court case to deal with Mac was doing more strength work than boxing/stamina/sparring work, Bradley Pryce also had the totally WRONG gameplan that night.

If Maccarinelli knew about Afolabi that night, he would have won. He thought Warren had given him another "unknown" he could blast out, he was an "unknown" but you cant blast Afolabi out of there in a few rounds.

Afolabi is a very good defensive fighter but seems to lack some offensive skills but that punch he landed was brutal. I heard that Afolabi has trained with the likes of Chris Arreola, both Klit's, James Toney and B Hop. And he handled him self very well, I think Ola would give problems for any cruiserweight out there including guys like Adamek but he needs to up his work rate or he is going to get outworked. If Enzo wins against Lebedev i think Warren will try and get him a fight straight at the WBO belt rather than face Afolabi again. Enzo seems like a nice guy but I don’t know if he can recover from 2 brutal KO's in his last 3 fights.

give afolabi some credit. he made macca miss with ease and was killing him with bodyshots, thats why he got tired. he broke enzo down systematicly and then took him out with one big shot. he has a much better chin, is much smarter and much more skilled than enzo. if mac gets by the russian afolabi chin checks him again.
