  • For The Brits..

    If anyone didn't know, Setanta are covering Cotto's fight in June and more recently, Valuev vs Chagaev on 30th May.

    Undercard for Cotto vs Clottey;

    Calderon vs Mayol
    Rafael Guzman vs Yogli Herrera
    Korobov vs ??
    Jorge Diaz vs Guadalupe De Leon
    Alberto Cruz vs Angel Rodriguez
    Glen Tapia vs David Lopez

    The undercard for Valuev vs Chagaev has a lot of fights on it;

    Giuseppe Lauri vs Juho Tolppola
    Cecilia Braekhu vs Amy Yuratovac
    Denis Shafikov vs John Cotterill Jnr
    Robert Helenius vs Scott Gammer
    Lamon Brewster vs Juho Haapoja
    Niko Jokinen vs Istvan Petroczki
    Jarno Rosberg vs Viktor Szalai
    Leonard Bundu vs Frank Shabani
    Kali Meehan vs Cerrone Fox

    I post this because last time I checked Setanta's listings on Boxrec, they only had Haye vs Wlad.

    I heard Cotto/Clottey would be on, but i didn't think it had been officiallised as of yet.

    Also, i don't think anybody cares for Valuev/Chagaev no matter how many fights are on the undercard. I'm more interested in the Berto/Urango - Angulo/Cintron fightcard on the 30th May.

    Any news if that will be Setanta'd?

      it's a relief to see they can still afford to get the Cotto/Clottey bout

      reckon they'll get the Mayweather/Marquez fight too? I doubt Sky will care seeing as there's no Brit involved

          I think they should just start charging people for one-off PPV's like they do for the Australians if networks can't secure these fights.

          Like £10 or something.

              No money.

              Setanta took alot of risks without really having that much dough.

                    Sky will care even though no Brits are invloved, as Mayweather is quite big even in UK now after he knocked out Hatton. before that fight, many yobs down pub said Hatton was too good to be beaten and would beat this Mayweather bloke. When asked if they had ever seen him box, they replied they never heard of him! Most British casual fans have surely heard of him now and seen him on MTV Cribs
