Degale. He doesn't look like he would be good in pro's. he was made for the Am's. I think Sutherland who he finally beat in the semis would make a better pro than him. He waits on his shots an takes longer to pick them, but had some decent power in his first bout. Never seen Gavin, would be nice if someone could post a video. I heard he is not a puncher.

I haven't seen Gavin either man was it bad what happened to him in the olympics.
Sutherland will make a good pro but has to work on his defence but he'll be a handfull for a lot of guys.
May the great Kevin Finnegan R.I.P

Why is it that some of our boxing fans dismiss fighters before they even get going? He was World Amateur champion which obviously takes some doing so give the guy a chance. Id bet that he has a better pro career than degale.

DeGale isn't made to be a pro his a good amateur he should stay amateur or is he turning pro.
I haven't seen Gavin fight but id like to & have to say this weight issue needs to be sorted out same happened with other fighters from diferent countries collapsing from being drained trying to make to make weight.

Sutherland was the guy I thought would make the best Pro from any of the British or Irish lads. His style doesn't suit amateurs at all so it's testament to how good he is that he got a medal.

I'm excited about him. I thought he was little like Arthur Abraham in style.

                  Cheers for that man.
From what isaw team GB lost a medal the Russian was very strong & caught Gavin in the first tried to use his strength on Gavin but from what ive seen he could go a long way he deserves it but that's only my opinion.
We have a fighter much similar as Gavin a southpaw Andy Lee his probs are his defence & in fighting but with another few fights hopefully everything is ironed out.
Gavin has the best man in Britian behind him FW.

Yeah, I was there. He dominated that guy. I think he has a fairly good style suitable for the pros.

Just thinking the obvious. He should definitely move up in weight.
