I think he could beat Vitali Klitschko and JAmes Toney if he connects with some good hooks. The guy is massive and has boxing fundamental skills. He was supposed to fight Sanders before Sander KTFO Wlad Klitschko. So I guess his big chance fell though due to promotional problems.

I would love to see this guy fight someone. i know hes not a great boxer but he doesnt look bad he seems to have good fundimentals nice jab and nobody can hit him effectively.
against real compitition he'd most likly get his ass kicked but i'd like to see it regardless

I second that. perhaps the fight against Nobles was a warning for them, he might stay away from the rematch as there is not much reward there. He needs to step it up NOW. I think I saw him ranked number nine by the WBA somehow. He should fight a top twenty guy so we can see what he's made of. He's becoming a little more confident now, I remember him saying how he's nowhere near ready for the Klitschkos, but now he's starting to realize those fights more and more...

I definitely do not see him beating Vitali, that'd ridiculous. He's not really known for overwhelming power, and Vitali will DEFINITELY dodge his pucnhes, if he can dodge bombs From Lennox and Sanders, and might you Johnson was throwing pretty fast punches too. Vitali knocks out Valuev fast, now I'm not sure of the TOney outcome. Valuev might be too big, but now they say he's 6"11 and not 7'2. Toney would be the fav .

you won't be seeing him fight any credible opponent in the near future...........

he isn't that good, but he doesn't have to be as it is difficult to even hit him with an overhand shot......so he has so many advantages given to him by god...

the german promoters are hand picking his opponents in a plan to keep him stopping opponents and then setting up an "attractive" battle between russia vs ukraine........so they will portray him as the russian wanting to fight the ukrainian ...most likely being vitali.....

vitali is quite tall also and therefore would dispose easily of valuev in a round of two......

it is interesting but you could you imagine the germans rallying him to become the number 1 and mandatory contender to byrd's title....now wouldn't that be unfair for byrd having to fight a guy 16 inches taller and 90 pounds heavier.........

Valuev is pretty untalented, slow and has only his size going for him. He works hard but that doesn't change his lack of abilities to a point were he could really step up into the top 10. He's just another attraction, nothing more, nothing less. He looked terribly against Nobles and he'll look terribly against any fighter that can box. If you wanna make a prospect outa him you could make one out of any NBA Center as well.
