Eubank - Hamed

I watched the Eubank - Calzaghe fight the other day for the first time, and noticed that Naz (who was ring-side) and Eubank seemed to be shouting stuff to eachother as the fight was on-going. The commentator also mentioned this.

Then i was reading Clazaghe's book last night, and he mentions witnessing a scuffle between Naz and Eubank at the airport some time later.

Does anyone know of any other incidents between these 2, or why there was a fued in the first place.

something to do with nas hamed bragging at how he was a world champion and eubank wasn't, eubank lost the plot and tryed to slap nas, but nas slipped the slap and slapped eubank.

At the airport on the way to a WBO belt collection, Naz said 'Look at my belts' to Eubank, who knocked them out of his hand, and tried to slap him. Naz punched him in the nose.

You can also hear Calzaghe calling Robin Reid an english **** in that fight (he was ringside for Sky).
Best Nas - Eubank confrontation was on the press conference of the 1998 Carl Thomson fight.

well legend has it Naz kept winding Eubank up at the airport saying: look how many belts i have Chris !(at the time Naz held all 4 featherweight world titles i believe)
So eubank smacked him up the ear hole like a little lad lol
with that naz was supposed to have threw a punch that bounced off of the side of Eubanks head !

I don't think he ever had all 4 but he definatley had 3 of the major belts.

"Had Vazquez not been (deliberately) stripped by the WBA of his belt (they did not want their featherweight title unified with the WBO) Hamed would have the distinction of being the first boxer to hold all four world titles in a division. This is an overlooked accomplishment of Prince Naseem. The WBA would not grant him a subsequent shot at their championship.

As with the IBF belt two years previous, Naseem had to relinquish his WBC world belt due to his commitment to being WBO champion. After this, Naseem vowed to put boxing politics behind him."

By the way was Hamed ever given the Featherweight Ring belt?
You would have thought since he was undefeated and the WBC, IBF, WBO and since he beat the guy who was the WBA champ before he was stripped of it just because they didn't want to unify with the WBO that he would get the Ring belt too.

yeah i thought he had most of them at that time!? cause i remember reading in the paper when the Eubank fracar happened that Hamed was pushing an airport trolly along with all his belts on top of his suitcases,and when Eubank smacked him up the ear Eubank threw all of Hameds belts up the floor !
To wich then Hamed was supposed to have bounced a punch off of Eubanks head lol
But not long after Naz and Eubank made up and gave the go ahead to make a tv add to help promote milk for Kidds!
