  • Carl Froch's next opponent

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/7094340.stm

Right it finally looks like Carl is getting a wriggle on. If he wins this fight he'l set up a fight for a world title shot, probably for a vacated Calzaghe belt. I don't know much about Inkin but hes got a high KO percentage so is going to be dangerous.

I can't read the story. Is Froch fighting Inkin? Who will be favored in this? I know Inkin is highly regarded but I haven't seen him.

Inkin will remind you of Kessler but with more aggressive style, He also relies on mmore hookiesh punches.

its about time. calzaghe will have vacated by the time this happens so this fight will effectively be for the wbc title.

probably froch's first proper world-level opponent though.

would Froch fight Kessler for the vacant title, seems the right way to do it, Froch far from being worldclass but then there is'nt that much out there anyway, GO ON Froch someone else to stuff the Yanks.

This should finally silence many of the Froch doubters and put him in the frame for a World Title shot.

Froch should see this one through....as long as he works on that defence....Inkin will be a class above anyone else hes thought.
But Froch should know this, afterall, Inkin did beat him as an amateur.
              Revenge comes to mind.

Inkin and froch have simlair recs so it would be a good stepping stone for either, Froch should win though.

My bad, should be working now. As to who will be favoured, seems like it will be pretty even so the purse bid may be the key. Froch has his own fortress at the Nottingham arena just like Hatton at the MEN. If Froch floored Inkin in the Amatuers he may have an edge in power in the pros as well.
