  • Jon Thaxton vs. Dave Stewart

Opinions on this one? One handicapper believes Stewart may give Thaxton some problems with his height/reach, but in the end Thaxton will pull it off. Thaxton is at like -700 as far as betting odds.

Dave Stewart is touring with the Eurythmics. Sorry, he's not turning up.

thaxton didn't look that great. he caught up with stewart late in the fight when tha scot gassed, but in the first half of the fight he was getting his head jabbed off.

i'm not so sure thaxton is the invincible khan-killer a lot of people are making him out to be.

Quite right Rooq. Thaxton looked pretty ordinary last night, but i still think he is the toughest opponent for Khan domestically at the moment. He certainly has the power to test Khan's chin to the full.

Thaxton's power is overated, he has like 18 KO's from 40 fights. I think Amir Khan would beat him, but there is always a worry that Amir Khan could get stopped as he is a bit chinny.

actually hes 12 wins with 9 KOs since his last lost in 2002

most of his KOs have come in the lightweight division.

            IMO his power is UNDERRATED
