i think i will email them to find out, ITV 3 sometimes do it with the football, and when you try and blow it up you loose the heads off everyone

Hey Rooq... no kidding here. But this weekend i was complaining about the set up of Setanta. In sheffield, they've got bill boards up advertising the covering of teh footy season and they list one of the teams whose games you can watch as...

"LIVERPOOL UNITED!"

How ****ing ****** is that. You'd think someone would notice.

Guess it could be worse- you might have "Manchester Rovers" or "Newcastle Albion" or something..


I reckon Setanta are pretty ******.

lol. they have all those signs down in Portsmouth, i was saying the same thing to my mate on saturday. as for the lines down the screen it is most likely the picture format if its filmed in 4:3 picture format it will show bars down the side and then distort if you change it to wide screen 16:9 most tv’s with smart picture still distort when changing to widescreen a lot of ITV programs are still filmed in 4:3 format.

You're talking about the Setanta on directv in the 600s (US TV)? I looked to see if there was boxing Sat. night and there wasn't...in fact, the next few days were all rugby and soccer
