  • Advantages & Disadvantages of Amir Khan

    Advantages:

    Fast Hands.
Good combinations with variety of punches.
    Good work rate, keeps busy.

    Disadvantages:

Poor defence & Poor head movement.
    No knockout power.
    Suspect chin.

Although he boxed well in regards to combinations, but with all his arsenal he was unable to hurt his opponent. He was caught flush many times and appeared hurt at times against an opponent with zero knock outs.

I think Amir Khan can become a world champion, but would lose against Juan Diaz, Joel Casamayor and Diego Corrales in the lightweight division. I think he needs to spend a few weeks with a top coach to improve his defence, like Roach or Steward. Was this Oliver Harrison guy even a boxer?

needs to move to the US for first class training, better sparring, to many mistakes which need to be ironed out now before it's to late, he will not be able to take punches like he did last night off heaver handed opponents.
His chin is not as good as he thinks it is, people need to be honest with him, not build him up into something he is not, believing in his own hype like Hamed.
