Like has been said, the 'ambling alp' just wasn't born to be a boxer. I'd pick him with Spinkds a close second.

Henry Akinwande for me, his record is good on paper but it does not tell the entire story!

                The worst heavyweight champ?

Geez, if I only knew what an oxymoron was, that above sentence may just fit the bill.

Anyways, although Leon Spinks was a fighter with a fair amount of talent and was usually a fairly exciting fighter, I'd have to name him as having the least impressive resume of all the heavyweight champions (not including alpha titlists, because they don't fit the term "world Champion" to me)...Still he was one of only a very select few who climbed to the top of the highest peak and held the greatest honour in this sport.

P.S. Da' Preem has gotten such a bad rap throughout time, and I think it's quite unfortunate that so many negative writings about him came out during the WW II years.

Well, since the title is champion who defended at least one time, then it has to be valeuv.

Agreed on all points; but I believe the thread-starter wanted a Champion who successfully defended his title at least once, which would disqualify Neon Leon.
