Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis. Why did they all duck Butterbean?
That would have been a huge money fight for any of those guys.
So why not fight him?

Because he wasnt a real fighter.
Why would a world champion fight a 4 round fighter?
52 year old larry holmes beat him up. Imagine what a prime champ would have done to him.
But im down for a butterbean vs any of them in 2021 on legends only

Boxing is about money. That's why fighters are always going after "names"
Butterbean is one of a handful of boxers to truly transcend the sport.
so why was he avoided?
more people know who butterbean is then lennox louis
and how wasn't he a "real" fighter?

Tyson wrecks him bad. Lewis and Holyfield hospitalizes him.

How so coward?
Butterbean is one of very few boxers to transcend the sport.
The big fights would have been huge. Why did it never happen?
Over 20000 fans witnessed this KO at the First Union Center in Philadelphia and wrestlemania 15 got 800,000 PPV buys
Bean also had around 13 pro fights that very same year.
One win being against an undefeated contender and also a KO over Peter Mcneely.
Later in his career he had done even more to justify being in big fights. Have you ever seen his iconic ko win against jack
a
ss?
why did cowards like louis, holyfield and tyson not take the fight? Im pretty sure Bean even called out punk tyson

Butterbean was a 4 round fighter who never earned the right to fight anyone approaching contender status. He didn't earn the right to be in any conversation with tyson, evander, lewis et al.
