  • Ali Was Unbeatable for 3-6 Years

Post Liston II, Ali was prob unbeatable by anyone.
IIRC, he never got dropped again, and after Liston II was just too fast--hands and feet--and was punching harder and harder as well.
Those 3 years and the 3 he was banned prob unbeatable. And the real TBE, not the absurd Fraud.

What about the streak Robinson had? Pretty unbeatable as well.

I agree. And of course many have SRR as TBE.
Too bad no film of him at WW I understand.

But I think w.o. the ban Ali could have had a 10-15 year streak w.o. a loss. Would have beat Frazier the way he did in their 2nd fight. But would have been easier for him.

Used to think this but not sure now. His weakness was a lack of infighting skills. Something the 70s version did have. Ali. Looked very fit and sharp in the first frazier fight. I think if that fight had happened a couple of years earlier joe would have still won.

Ali the best overall heavy but i dont think he was unbeatable. His opponents in the early 70s were much tougher.
