Sorry. All the top heavyweights took ROIDS post 1990.

Lewis was a great fighter but he was no Joe Louis. Very silly statement.

You're right, Lewis was better. And whether they all took roids or not, nothing compares to what Holyfield did. And nobody believes that it was comparable, including you.

Lewis black mark was that he was knocked out by single blows twice. This knocks him down several pegs all time. I still rate him top five.

Anybody can get knocked out by a single blow in HW boxing, especially being as arrogant as Lewis was. First one he rushed into it.

Lewis took Briggs and Brunos best shots. I hate him as a person but he is unfortunately the best boxer of all time.

Regarding Duran he was no more susceptible to boxers than any other fighter. The Viruets fought to survive not win. SRL was an ATG of a very high level as was Duran. Very very few fighters possessed Durans talent level at his best. Duran was very quick, tireless, durable and could lay an opponent out with one punch from either fist. Aside from all this he was among the most exciting fighters to watch in the last 50 years.

Lewis the best boxer of all time? Hardly. He was koed by single shots twice. This alone puts him at a level below the top 3-4.

Try the 1960s(and before that but not on a big scale yet). The big change in HW body types started around that time which is also when it started blowing up in other sports as well.

Yes even the beloved golden era, those guys were using stuff too.

The 80s may have been the most rampant in terms of drugs since many fighters were even using recreational drugs on top of the PED's.

What made you pick the 90s as your theory on when PED use started? Is it because your emotions psychologically refuse to incriminate your own favorite HW's from before that time? Or because it was all legal untill the 90s so you only go by the official drug tests?

So you're either misinformed or too emotional on this issue. Usually a solid poster untill this subject.

Prime Evander would out-box and out-brawl almost any fighter who used the same dosages as him. Before the age of 40, the only man he didn't defeat officially was Lennox Lewis though most believe Evander won the rematch(and lost the first).

It was an even playing field, my young and innocent friend. Name me one fighter he faced who wasn't using. I'm in for a laugh. Go ahead. You've got the floor.

There was nothing really Evander Holyfield could not do 'To a very high level'.

ROIDS became a science in the 90’s. The outlandish bodybuilder physiques are a testament to What was going on behind the scenes. The 80’s were not immune either.
