Ali wasn't past his prime at 28, he was coming off such a long layoff, and by the time he started shaping up he was already in his 30s. Had he kept fighting he would have still been prime vs Frazier.

And beaten by Frazier just the same.

the only difference is that the rematch would have ALSO been against a prime Frazier, rather than a faded one.

Therefore, no Ali vs. Foreman, no Ali vs. Norton, etc.
