When looking through boxing history, we see that some guys had insane professional records. I'm not sure who had the best ever, but these are the ones that come to mind.
Willie Pep was 134-1-1 at one point in his career, and was pretty much invincible before the plane crash in 1947.
Marcel Cerdan was 106-2 at one point, and the two losses he had were disqualifications (and he was ahead on points in those contests). Basically, Cerdan wasn't actually beaten until his 108th fight!
Sugar Ray Robinson was 128-2-2 at one point, and that was against high-level competition.
Then we have guys like Harry Greb, who won 261 fights (at least) in his career. I think that is a record.
Anyone I am missing?
