  • What was the most powerful Razor Ruddock Smash?

I’m thinking it’s between the Dokes and Bonecrusher Smith bouts.. Thoughts?!

I always felt the Dokes one was particularly sickening.

To be fair that was a cumulative effect of three smashes back to back

With that said, I ask of those here, was this dude dropped, and dropped HARD, in his fights more often than what we may expect of other talented contenders? As I said, I am old enough to have been aware of his existence, and just old enough to have watched both of his Tyson fights around the time period when they occurred, and maybe I am disremembering this, but, wasn't Ruddock hyped quite a lot previous to those two Tyson fights and being touted as a very serious threat to all top HW's of the day? Like I said, when watching what fights of his I have, I always seem to leave with the impression that there really wasn't much of anything to shout about as regards Ruddock and what in-ring abilities he had when comparing him/those to the other "class" contenders? He seems sloppy and robotic at times...no, not robotic,as robots are expected to be near perfect and without fail, definitely much more of a human "Tin Man" than Robotica

The Dokes KO was insane. it looks like something from MMA.

Sure, Dokes probably wasn't even medically fit to fight.

That being said, these old time fights remind me of Poor Man's K1. Lots of big, roided out dudes who can hit hard, but little more. It's like Russian Roulette with fists.

Fury and Wilder (and maybe Joshua?) would both have already broken Marciano's record if guys like this were still around and getting air time.

It's like Fast Food Boxing watching these dudes.

Can you imagine any of those guys competing today!?

I'd love to see Hagler try those wild looping punches on a prime Golovkin. I dunno if his mother will opt for an open caskett, but it'll definitely incite a Black Lives Matter rally.

Hearns finds himself where he put Duran.

Usyk sends Marciano back to the Special Olympics.

Wilder ****s Holmes and Norton.... they'll both be WISHING those were Earnie Shavers' punches coming their way.

Carbajal and Gonzalez would have stuck to raking leaves and putting up dry wall... assuming they aren't detained by ICE.

Holyfield wouldn't be championship material in the VADA era. But i'm sure he still accumulates tons of brain damage. He's like somebody's senial grandfather. You think people meet Holyfield and say "yours was the greatest generation! Hang on for a few more years, I want to see you blow out the candles at your 100th birthday!"? I mean, if i didn't know who he was i'm sure I'd make that mistake.

I actually MADE two millennials (and two generation Alphas). They're smart enough not to embarrass themselves like you.
