  • Prime Tom Sharkey vs Prime Mike Tyson

The best version of Sharkey fights the Tyson who beat Holmes. How does it go?

  • #2
I’m fascinated with old photos. They stop the time and show our “now”. Outside the photos, time moves rapidly on, and we’ll soon pass away, into oblivion. As we never existed.

Sharkey could never have imagined moon landings or internet. Or that thunderous boxers like Tyson would develope. The pic shows his and Jeffries’s “now”. Two human beings, full of cheers, sorrows and thoughts. Like us now existing, who are merely temporary guests on this planet.

Does anyone even know how much Sharkey weighed?

He's way too small for Tyson, but if who knows how good he was with throws, headbutts and elbows. I don't doubt that he'd do very well against more recent fighters his own size. Boxing has become really soft. Mostly society's throw-aways.

Tom Sharkey may have had Johnson's milking muscle, from a picture I saw once.
