    Another Shavers challenge

    I recall when The Ring listed the heavyweight hopes for the future sometime in the mid-70s.
    Johnny Boudreaux was the boxer and main name, Howard Smith was the KO artist, and another guy was mentioned, Larry Holmes, who also seemed talented.

    Smith defeated Boudreaux, and his next step up the ladder would be a win over Shavers …
