I've never seen this before, but it looks like Roy wasn't scared at all to fight Lennox. He straight up said he would tear his azz up. He said he tried to ask Lennox about making the fight happen and he said Lennox was considering retirement (basically ducking him.)

What makes it even more interesting is Roy didn't have any doubt that he would have beaten the Lennox that fought Vitali.

Lewis may have retired to save face rather than rematch Vitali but he didn't retire to avoid Jones. Even an old past prime Lewis would have had no problem KOing the much smaller Jones. Every boxer says they would win but Jones would been flattened with ease by ether Vitali or Lewis. He never was the true heavyweight champion. He was only a belt holder.
