Simple fact is Kovalev is excellent when he is in charge but is not durable when being hit and hurt.

He steamrolled through competition and all the newbies were talking as if he could beat Moore or Foster. True ATG that fully proved themselves. The true test of a knowledgeable boxing fan/historian is not to jump to conclusions but to be patient until all the boxes are checked. Kovalev has not checked all the boxes.
--- You have steadfastly proven you don't know more than a few basics enough to throw out simple conclusions.

Arch got beat plenty as did Sheriff Bob who is nowhere near Arch, but keep the comedy coming. Kov has been beating traditional heavies the whole of his career, but I seriously doubt you know enough about the last 25 yrs of boxing to even understand what I'm talking of.

      Again you show your ******ity.

It’s not a question of losing. It’s a question of how you lose. Kovalev had chances to prove he was as good taking it as giving it. He failed measurably. For now he is the ultimate of front runners. Front runners are not rated alongside those who could take as much as they gave.

Now tell everyone why you love Kiv so much simply because he is white. You were the known racist on aol boxing 20 years ago and you have not changed one iota.

--- Kov just pitched a masterclass, a class you have never been in.

You know less than nothing. I don't base any of my assessments of fighters on race, but keep on screeching loud and long. It's the best game you got absent any historical fighting acumen.

Kovalev caved the one time he needed to show toughness. It’s easy to act tough far more difficult to exhibit in the ring. It separates the good fighter from the great. Kovalev failed this test.

I love his competition/Resume at 175 but i wouldn't put him in the top 15.

I couldn't take the outcomes of his 2 fights vs ward seriously. On the other hand that would have been his best rival so even if they weren't really "losses", they severely damaged his potential career accomplishments. It's hard to say how high he ranks right now but I think if he has a few more namebrand fights before he hangs them up, he's easily higher than 15.

He hunched over after being hit very very low in the groin (almost UNDER the testicles) believing the ref would interfere and instead the ref waved it off. How does that really say anything about his toughness?

I'd say he had a trust problem & didn't realize how dirty boxing is.
