That's because Top Rank and the idiots at ESPN push Loma like he's some God we never saw before

Boxing fans these days are wired to say a fighter they dislike was exposed or a fraud so a fighter is barely allowed to lose a round. Look at the Marriaga fight. He was exposed because he had some blood from 2 deliberate headbutts.

And a guy in MMA can lose 10 fights in a row and still gets respect and TV time.

Hell one of the GOATs Anderson Silva had 4 loses before he went on an incredible run that put him in that discussion. It;s one of the things that I love about MMA. Fans are far more forgiving of losses.

--- It's Loma, not the alliteration used in smearing tactics.

And he fights more aggressively now as a proper pro need be.

The KD was a sharp balance shot, no big deal at all save for the automatic 2pt deduction. He trumped that minor mistake in spades.

It's an honor to watch someone bring the irrefutable technique, ambition, and excitement back into boxing. Long may he reign.

Now this is what I like to see from history buffs, appriciating new talent for being worthy additions to the art/sport. Not these other insecure fellas who seem to be paranoid and think that a young fighter being recognized as good/great is a direct threat to the legacy of their favorite fighters from the past.

As for Loma's recent knockdown, this fight is actually a big credit to his legacy because Boxing very much values a fighter being able to get back up and end up winning that fight, and even more so if it's by knockout like he did.
