Tunney had faster feet than both and better skills than Holmes. Dempsey's legs were pretty much done for in his fights with Tunney. Notice how he bends at the waist and doesn't have the spring in his legs like he did against Firpo or anyone he fought in his prime. That's just one tell.

But Holmes would be bigger and stronger than Tunney which factors in.

He's slower and less skilled. Dempsey would clobber Holmes. Strength doesn't really matter here because they are both in the same weight class and Dempsey was clearly the stronger of the two (Dempsey and Holmes).

I don't know, Holmes seemed pretty strong. And I wouldn't go so far as to say he was "less skilled" than Tunney.
