Would you consider that to be his prime? Would prime be defined by age? To me, personally, he was better when he came back as the old man.

      Bethea -- don't know enough
      Dejohn -- don't know enough
      Williams -- Foreman by KO
      Valdes -- Foreman by KO
      Harris -- don't know enough
      Folley -- Foreman by KO
Machen -- tough against everyone; could prove slick and befuddling - Foreman by 'ugly' UD
      Patterson -- Foreman by KO

Foreman vs Patterson would have been ugly.
Cus would have had to bring in a few towels to throw in the ring.

That can be argued but when most think of "prime" Foreman they think of the 70's version.

Yeah Machen would have been the most likely to hand Foreman a loss. But I would pick Foreman via ugly UD.

Most of young fans don't even know a young foreman existed.

Foreman was just a big puncher. He would have been destroyed by Tyson, Liston, Joe Louis, if all those guys were in shape. Foreman's most impressive win to me was over Shannon Briggs lol. And he got robbed in that fight. Frazier was a total mismatch.

Patterson probably would've been KO'd by Foreman but Patterson had heart, he would have fought until he was obliterated or the towel was thrown in. There's just not much you can do if a guy with Foreman's power lands a clean shot, no matter who you are (except Ali...and Ron Ryle....and Jimmy Young lol)
