Looking through some old time boxers wiki's and stumbled across Packey Mcfarland.

He seems to have had an exceptional record (even tho the numbers seem to be different across multiple sources) he never even fought for a world title.

Was he just universally ducked?

Where does he rank alongside other fighters not to have fought for a world title?

You would have to look way back these days, because with 4-5 sanctioning bodies even guys like Rod Salka get title shots.
