Tyson was always a head case. Always filled with self doubt.

That really began to come out after the Robin Givens crap.

I think beating Douglas how he did after Tyson lost to Douglas, was enough to "punk" Tyson. Evander looks mean in the staredown, but Mike knew he was ****ed after his first bout with Holyfield. staredown meant jack ****

He wasn't training much by then anyway.

If you guys haven't, you should read his book.

He relied in intimidation a lot. Probably because was just so insecure himself. He talks about his insecurity and fear in his book a lot.

Bruce Seldon's manager told Mike after the fight that Seldon was so scared he had a nervous breakdown in the ring.

No...Mike always was a head case. It never came out because he mowed everyone down in non competitive bouts. Put him to the test and Tyson became a very different, cautious, less active and very beatable fighter.

Nah he was training a lot, just not as correctly as he should have. I remember at the time of the rematch folks were saying Tyson trained as hard as he ever did and was fully ready for 12 rounds..(physically).
