Around 22 million - not bad for a live gate. -- Despite the Sims Law, Rickard was also able to get the fight film some theater releases (via bribes and fines) but it earned one tenth (or less) of the live gate.

Funny how that has gotten flipped on its head, according to Forbes there were over four thousand empty seats for Mayweather-McGregor, (in a venue that held only 17 thousand) but boy that PPV would have hair lipped Tex Rickard

These numbers are based on this webpage: http://www.usinflationcalculator.com/

P.S. Dempsey's end $325,000 would be about 4.5 million today.

Mayweather-McGregor WAY OVERPRICED the seats, which is why they couldnt sell out
