I've only read through half of this thread so if what I mention has already been brought up, allow for me to apologize in advance. About 4 months ago I just randomly happened to watch Mayweather vs Corrales and a few days later I watched Pacquiao vs JMM 1, which is the only reason I noticed the following discrepancy between two statements (one in each fight) made by the recently departed Harold Lederman. In NO way am i implying anything. there is absolutely no agenda, not that anyone would care if I had one. I just thought it very interestinmg. So then:
"...By the way Jim, the three knockdown round, I went 10-7. Most judges will not go below 10-7 because it puts the other guy to far out of the fight."
Harold Lederman during Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Diego Corrales 1-20-2001

"You absolutely have to give Manny Pacquiao a 10-6 round for the 3 knockdowns..." Harold Letterman 5-8-2004 Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez I
I'm not saying he's/it's right or wrong either way, but maybe others will find it interesting.
