All of those fighters can be addd to IBHOF no problem with that, Johnny Nelson, Tony Tubbs , Vinny Paziena they should not be in itComment

I definitely don't think Gatti should be in the IBHOF.Comment

But wasn't he a better and more accomplished fighter than Gatti?Comment

Skill wise, I don't recognize a single name on McGuigan's record. I will confess, I was a child in the early 80's and featherweights in general weren't on television never mind international fights.
As I've grown older and learned more about fighters from yesteryear, I still don't recognize a single name on his record lol.
When a boxer is fighting sub-par opposition its hard to see their true skill. I've seen plenty of eventual B to C level fighters look like world champs when they were 10-0 fighting scrubs.Comment

"Skill wise, I don't recognize a single name on McGuigan's record"..............................really?
Barry was a tough fight for anyone and he was a more skilled boxer than Gatti but Gatti was a determined fighter.
Bernard Taylor
Juan LaPorte
Steve Cruz
Eusebio Pedrosa
Paulie DeVorce
These are well known men in boxing........
Being born in the late 70's is not an excuse for not studying the History of the sport.

The guy is CERTAIN to get into the hall of fame at some point.
I stand by that.
Butterbean always has been and always will be more significant as a boxer to the general public.
Nobody knows who pernel whitaker is...Comment

I don't think you understand how this works.
Aren't you the guy who claims to have been in the business for years?
And yet you can't fathom how popularity/recognition works in boxing....
Do you have something against bean?
clearly you're not a fan. lolComment
