George Foreman tweets about potential loaded gloves against him

Foreman has been answering a lot of fans questions recently on twitter, and earlier someone said to him they felt Alex Stewart loaded his gloves against him, Foreman responded saying "To this day I still believe this! How could you have known this?"

I've seen the fight before but after reading his tweet I rewatched the fight. First, The post fight facial injuries on Foreman speak for them self, Stewart could **** a bit, but not Like Morrison or Evander who clearly didn't inflict that kind of damage. Even with the injuries aside, the way he was snapping Foreman's head back with jabs was brutal and a rare sight in all honesty.

Has anyone else seen this fight and thought the same thing?. I don't ever post o here but found this interesting enough to ask some of you guys. Are there any other matches surrounding Stewart that could lead you to think he was loading his gloves? His record was 43 wins with 40 KO's as well, perhaps a bit fishy

Hard to take Foreman seriously. His excuses went into crazy territory too with the whole poisoned vs Ali thing. I don't think Stewart did this but I must say though there is something to this.

Old Foreman got hit hard by some guys, Holyfield ran a train over his face too and although I remember a lot of swelling there too, it wasn't quite as bizarre and graphic as the Sewart fight.

Edit: I had no idea Alex Stewart died last year. That's too bad. Bronze medal in the olympics, 40 KO's out of 43 wins starting out with 24 ko's in a row. Fought in one of if not the best HW era ever.

Idk. I definitely remember that fight cuz that was a fun, competitive fight, but Stewart could f#cking ****. Granted he lost every major fight he was in, but Foreman was pretty slow & I seem to recall Stewart doing well off of his movement mixed with his power on that night. And its not like Foreman didn't blow up like a balloon animal when he was taking punches. I recall him throwing his shades on during many of his L's or rough nights.

Ive talked to Foreman multiple times on twitter ,very grounded nice guy . But reality IS Foreman was always hittable and Stewart hit hard. Could the gloves be loaded? Yea ....but most likely its bc Foreman himself made the fight harder than it should have been but guys get bigger and stronger they REALLY do its not a myth . Even Foreman said this lol.

George Foreman pulling an Amir Khan.

Controversial Tweet no doubt to sell a new Foreman Grill product.

"I used to get punched in the face for a living and I still make the best grills. Not the same for you."

          LOL! Legendary quote from Khan.

Foreman was always a sore loser. And he always had extremely colorful excuses. "the water was drugged", "the gloves were loaded" etc.

The reason his face got marked like that is cos he took the full brunt of ste***** punches. And was very easy to hit.

Foreman has always come across as a real creepy son of a b'itch.

            Classless piece of sh'it too.

I'm guessing you haven't seen recent interviews of the man. Actually extremely humble and admits that excuses were just excuses. He lost when he lost and he won when he won.

Foreman is a creepy weirdo plain and simple.
However I do rate him highly as a fighter.

What's creepy about him? I actually do not know. He always seemed like a true convert and a do-gooder as well as a lucky and opportunistic business guy. He seems friendly enough as well.

I don't see why he'd make this up as he didn't lose to Stewart he won a MD. After 81 fights he should know how a punch feels and obviously he felt that it felt different on that night. Stewart was a pretty good puncher (40 KOs in 43 fights) so who knows maybe he did have loaded gloves or maybe he just hit hard.
