    How many times Tunney down?

Aside from Dempsey did anyone else ever score a knockdown against him?

I don't think so. Tunney had a great chin against sub heavyweights and most heavies except for Dempsey. Even then it was still good aside from the kd in the second fight. Don't know how good he would do against prime Demps.

Dempsey would have probably won that second fight by ko under the old rules he was used to in his prime.

Dempsey would have stood over Tunney as the ref counted and simply pummelled him every time he tried to stand up.

I haven't heard of another knockdown. That's higly impressive for 85 fights with his style, his style was to move around a lot and you gotta have extremely good balance and control to not even suffer a flash knockdown in that many fights(aside from what Dempsey did which shows how great he was). Many things can happen, feet get tangled, you accidentally move into a punch etc. I really admire Tunney.

He wasnt much of a mover besides the dempsey fights. Was more of an infighter, a body attack specialist

Tunney is one of the most overrated fighters in the history of boxing.

            Truth be told.
            Tunney was actually a skrub.
