Why was M. Spinks so Hard to Fight?

    There were certainly better light heavyweight eras than the one Spinks lived in. His was a decent era, nothing special. Braxton was the best LHW he faced, and the Camden boy at under 5'7" was no world beater. What Braxton did was beat up an extremely worn out Matt Franklin and some other decent fighters. Braxton had no better luck with Holyfield when he faced him at cruiserweight.

    Spinks was not around yet to face men like Galindez, Lopez, Franklin, Ahumada and Foster in their primes, men who could have really tested him and pushed him and very possibly beaten him.
