            I had forgotten he'd fought Don Jordan in 1959 for the welterweight title.

            Moyer was the first Junior Middleweight world champion, he had a long career with over 100 fights and fought a lot of well known fighters such as Monzon, Benvenuti, Antuofermo, Sugar Ray Robinson, Emile Griffith, Luis Manuel Rodriguez, Tony DeMarco and many more of the top contenders from the late 50s through to the mid 70s. Moyer is one of my favourite fighters for boxing trivia which is why I should have got the answer quicker!
