      how recent is recent? If we're talking the last couple years then probably not but going further back,Bradley v Provo, Khan v Maidana, Pac v JMM 4, Pac v JMM 1, obviously the MAB/Morales rivalry, Murray v Mitchell, Garcia v Matthysse, Pac v Cotto, Groves v Froch 1 and so on.

            Well, that's definitely the case in some instances, but not a lot.

            You saw that with heavyweight Seth Mitchell, Mike Alverado, and a few other boxers, but most of the time those guys can't fight at the elite level anyways.

            Most of the time the top fighters started boxing at a very young age and the best ones had well over a hundred amateur fights.
