Ottke still easily beat Glen Johnson.

The only thing that the fight could do for boxing, was taking away Sven from the list of undefeated retired champions.

Had Calzaghe fought and beaten Ottke, it would have meant a major legacy enhancement for him. It would arguably have been Calzaghe's best win or at least top 3.

ottke wasn't bad but he got a lot of help from the judges. his fight against robin reid was a disgrace, reid beat the **** out of ottke and even knocked him down and the judges gave the fight to ottke even though he'd lost almost every round. ze german judges are crooked, ottke wasn't undefeated, he lost several fights but the ze judges couldn't score correctly

it would have been fun seeing calzaghe slap or beat the **** out of ottke though. calzaghe would got robbed just every other non german fighter who fought ottke but we all would have known who really won the fight. no way joey zags is losing to sven ottke. my favorite ottke fight was against Anthony bumdine, where bumdine was winning on the cards (or should have been) and got KTFO'd by a left hook counter
