A friend mentioned a Basque strongman who had had something of a boxing career, and he did not think it was Uzcudun. I did not find whoever his vague memory was thinking of, but I did find this article where not all the video links worked. He thought the guy fought around the 1950's or 60's. Anyway.

He didn't have a fighting heart in him, but what a punch those 18" hammers could have delivered, assisted by 475 lbs. of muscle. If Duran knocked out a pony, I would expect Angus to KO a clydesdale.
