That logic for YOU makes no sence considering you have guys like Dempsey k.oing Lewis in ONE round .That would actually put Lewis as one of the weakest champs in history and here you are claiming WK to be the greatest?

Yes for some ,the problem with ANY history section you have nuts who think old was better like Corso and tell tall tales like the ones that are in that article then you have SOME who actually always known that modern era fighters are better by far .History is fun and has its place but really its not the most realistic place to have realistic discussion of skill sets , at least Jacobs was smarter than most ,its mind boggling to this day the dumbed down ones still outweigh the smart ones by today ,and its a era of more vid footage and media access which adds to the wonder of how its even an argument !

yes i rate Lewis as a weak champion. He is on a par with Frank Bruno in my opinion.

You talk rubbish. A panel of Boxing Historians, done the punch stats on the "1906 Battling Nelson vs Joe Gans fight" - Those punch stats actually match-up and some are better, than Floyd Mayweather vs Oscar De LaHoya fight and other Floyd Mayweather championship bouts.

It is now nearly 75yrs since Sugar Ray Robinson's greatest fighting prime days. 75yrs and no fighter has ever came close to matching him. 147lb Robinson would knock out Floyd Mayweather. Other Champions from the 1960s (55yrs ago) like Emile Griffith would have little trouble taking Mayweather out.

It is now 45-50yrs since Cassius Clay ruled the world. Today, he is still known as The Greatest. Clay at 6''4' and 210lbs would be far to feet-of-foot and skillful for Wladimir Klitschko.

It is over 75yrs since Ezzard Charles fought at Middleweight and lightheavyweight. Yet today, he is still rated as the best 175lb fighter ever. Does Sergey Kovalev, have the skills to defeat Ezzard Charles?.. fight-film clearly shows Charles would take Kovalev apart in what would be a mismatch.

I can easily go through the entire weight classes, naming fighters from over 50-80yrs ago who would easily defeat todays champions. With fight-film there as proof.

SRR has never fought ANYONE of Pacman or floyds caliber...could he win? Yes he had enough power but would he is another question. The links themselves exposes many myths of the old days on the thread ANYONE who clicks them and actually reads the articles will MAYBE think about it for once ....The lighter weight classes are a bit harder to compare ,as its not as easy as the HW's which are easier to break down. you live in fantasy land for sure however....lewis/Wlad and Vitali are ALL on the same LEVEL....you cant see this so your points really cant be taken seriously when discussing Hw's ...the other classes maybe? But its night and day skill wise ,you fall into the dumbed down fan unfortuantly. Having Wlad as your greatest HW ironically is aboput the only thing thing that you ever said that's credible because you can make a solid undisputable case for it,wheather anyone agrees or nort with it,hes certainly a top 5 .

then again you posted this.....and continue to ENLARGE the fighters...lol

You are Wrong, to claim Lewis, & Vitali to be on the same level. Lewis does not come close to the brothers level. Wladimir is in a totally different league, to what Lennox Lewis was ever in. Wladimir has "Run the Show" for eleven years. Wladimir has more world title fights than almost any other boxer. Wladimir has fought, The No1 Contenders consistently, throughout his reign. Wladimir has consistantly fought, undefeated, unexposed, young top rated No1 contenders... Lennox Lewis is the exact opposite to Wladimir. whichever way you look at it, Lewis turned down title fights with, "Every Top rated fighter and champions throughout the 1990s" unlike Wladimir, Lewis was "Stripped of every version of the Undisputed Title" for refusing to fight the No1 contenders...
                    Wladimir has "Ducked no-one"
                    Lewis ducked almost everyone.

Lewis boasted, "One brother for breakfast, the other brother for Tea".. Yet Lewis was very fortunate, to come away with a victory over the limited Vitali Klitschko. Lewis then quickly ran off into retirement, with his trousers full of brown. At the thought of facing Wladimir. In my opinion, Wladimir would destroy Lewis in a couple of rounds. Similar to McCall & Rahman.

Lewis won the Undisputed Title with a very debatable decision, over old Evander Holyfield. Lewis "NEVER" defended that Undisputed Title. He refused to fight the No1 Contenders, so was stripped of every belt. Wladimir has far to much pride and dignity, to run away from a challenge or bring the sport into dispute like Lennox Lewis.
