    hmm
    take willie pep for example,
    say 1945?
    on boxrec, it records his weight at 125.75lbs
    does that mean 125.75 is approx how much he weighed on fight night? since this is before the night-before weigh ins?

      That was the official weight, based on the official weigh in, whenever it occurred.

          There were same day weigh ins until the 1980's. Hopefully that clears everything up for you.

            so basically a featherweight in the 60s is lighter than a modern day featherweight on fight night.

            then how accurate are these all-time rankings
