With exception of the Manuel Calvo fight, vs Barrera was the worst version of Hamed there ever was.
In the words of Larry Merchant,'' Barrera a true professional from a nation of professional fighters, is just doing his job''. Whereas Hamed already thought he was god.
Manny Steward repeatedly telling him he needed a ko, in between almost every round, was pretty comical, to say the least..... I don't now, and didn't then, feel it was because of how good Barrera was, as he spent the first 6-7 rounds fighting at Hamed's pace, which was an unimpressive 35-40 punches per 3 minute session...
Wasn't even fought at a fast pace, and the phoney prince still got exposed as just a showman without a fighters heart.
