    There's probably already some of you who are very well aware of this site (like Kid Achilles), but for those who aren't aware of it and have an interest in the earliest days of the Queensberry era (or even the late bareknuckle era), this is for you;

    http://www.brooklynpubliclibrary.org/eagle/

    Great site for looking up contemporary writings and fight reports of the early heavyweights like Sullivan, Jeffries, Corbett, Sharkey, Jackson, Fitzsimmons, etc., etc...Or even if you have an interest & want to look up info on some of the non-heavyweight greats of that time like Dixon, McGovern, Dempsey, Ryan, McAuliffe, McCoy, etc.

    I discovered this site a year or two ago, and when I first started looking over it, I was basically hooked and was so for quite some time.

      - -Remember using the site back when for a project, but today it was unresponsive.

      I'll check in later after their servers are updated.
