Tyson was probably more exciting because you knew in his fights you were likely to see Tyson get ****in' pummeled give up and get KO'd, so in effect the outcome was never a foregone conclusion. With Tyson you also got treated to such unpredictable gems as:

          1) WWF arm bar and attempt to break Botha's arm

          2) Whining and crying to referees about headbutts

          3) Fouling out by hitting after the bell against Norris

          4) 10 counting an opponent with a punch that didn't land (Seldon)

          5) Biting Holyfield's ear off (that alone wins this poll )

          6) Showing more toughness and aggression before fights (Lewis press conference and pre-fight introductions. Tyson should have let the wall of security guards stay in the ring with him. They might have spared him the ass kicking)

          7) Showing more toughness and aggression after fights (Holyfield 2. If he threw as many bad intentions punches against Holyfield as he did at the security officials he may not have had to punk out and resort to biting)

          8) Quitting when ahead on points (McBride)

          9) Quitting when behind on points (Williams)

          10) Quotes, Quotes, Quotes:

          "I wanna eat his children"
"I'm gonna make you my girlfriend"
"I was trying to push the bone into his brain"

Puhleez, it's Tyson, but I like Ali more and he's ranked higher for me. Outside the ring Ali was WAAAY more entertaining.

the most exciting fighter for me ever was Nigel Benn.

Much as I love Ali and as much as I believe he was the superior fighter, exciting wise, you gotta go with the K.O. specialist. Whenever Mike got in the ring, there was an anticipation of destruction because you knew some serious leather was gonna fly. The only time in his career, before he got old, that this wasn't true was when Bonehugger Smith pulled that survival job.

With Ali you always had to worry about style match-ups as to whether or not it would be an exciting bout. Ali, in his prime, was a thing of beauty to watch; but it was more like watching an artist paint a masterpiece when he was in the ring compared to Mike, who was more of a demolition expert.

Paint Brush vs Wrecking Ball.......no comparison, really.

Go back to watching your videos of kiddie **** you pervert.

Anyone with a decent brain knows Tyson is more exciting, but in your case, you got ****ed in the ass by Ali so i see where you're coming from.

Well, that would certainly qualify for reasons people watched Tyson in Career #2....especially after the ear biting incident.

ya'll are delusional. look at all the **** ali started with liston and frazier. then he came to the ring and backed it up. he dazzled the crowd with his pontity of punches and the ali-shuffle. the way he went after cleveland williams like a mad-man and crushed him. remember that!

ali is more exciting. cast your vote fast before the poll closes.

The poll doesn't lie. If everybody on the site would've voted it would be 90% for Tyson . Hell even a 40 year old Tyson is more exciting than Muhammad.
