    Roberto Duran training tape

A bit of an exhibition training, sparring session of an old, out of shape Duran but still a very interesting watch nonetheless. Seems a little tired of it all, understandably at 38 or 39 or whatever he was here, but it could also be because he wasn't in training for any fight and was just doing some light exhibition stuff while travelling to the UK. Still, you can see the skill, savvy and what made him so great. He just doesn't put any effort or intensity into it at this stage anymore.

Also includes the oft seen Benn light sparring and an exhibition match with Errol Christie and Michael Harris.

The way Duran throws the 1-2-3, jab, right hand, left hook is fantastic.

Sometimes the left hook looks like a variation between a hook and an uppercut. And the way he moves his head on the way in.. brilliant fighter.

Could only imagine a superfight between Lightweight Duran and Mayweather.

        Right thread?

It's just a fat Duran training tape. It does have some footage of Benn sparring him, but it's a very small part of it and only goes for a few rounds. Benn is still young and wants to go for it, but Duran is just ****ing about and doing very light sparring. The majority though is him doing some short training and then an exhibition fight later.

Yeah man, you can see even it all even at this stage when he doesn't try, and is in terrible shape. But it's amazing to watch his ring savvy and the way he turns Benn, makes him miss, his positioning etc. His short shots inside are great too and the way he chooses his punches.

Love watching these types of things even more than most fights these days. You get to see what makes a fighter what he is.
