    What great fighter performed horribly in a big fight...

    Not talking about Ray leonard coming back vs Camacho, or roy jones vs calzaghe,,, but a great fighter close to his prime in a big fight, that he was horrible in...

                      I agree with you for the most part... Spinks, fair or not, will always be remembered as the guy tyson ko'd in 30 secs.. It was probably the biggest fight of the 80s next to leonard-hagler...

                      But I gotta give spinks a pass on the worst performance part.. If your a retired blown up light heavy, I think there is no shame in getting stopped quick by a prime absolute destroyer in tyson..

                              Let's not end thread until you clarify whose performance was embarrassing? Manny came to fight like he always does and is a warrior. Floyd's performance was cringe worthy for a fight of that magnitude. He fought like a scared paper champion. And on top of all of this, Manny sustained an injury to his LEAD arm!!!!!!! Smh. LoL! Floyd ruined what could've been an historic fight with his dirty tactics, running, and hugging. The judges rewarded him for it. Boxing officially died May 2nd.
