Evander Holyfield beating Mike Tyson in 96 claimed he would have beaten Tyson in 91 had their proposed fight happened.

Michael Spinks beating Dwight Braxton.. Spinks claimed he loaned Dwight $30 a few years earlier and Dwight never paid him back, so that motivated him to beat up his opponent.

Joe Frazier told his trainer Eddie Futch "Whatever happens, don't stop the fight. I am gonna close his mouth once and for all"... Thrilla in Manilla... Joe never won the fight, But he damaged Muhammad Ali to the point where he "Closed his mouth once and for all" with the brutal beating he put on him. Frazier landed punches on Ali which made a strange kind of sound, they were punches thrown with very bad intentions and they were very damaging punches. especially to the body... In the years after that fight, whenever both fighters were at an event or in the same room as eachother. Frazier was known to say to reporters, "See Muhammad Ali over there, i done that to him".. as Ali was being helped by family and friends.

The first thing any fighter overcomes is his mother. A short list would be those whose mother did not mind. The Fullmer boys and the Quarry boys might be on that list.
