Brewster was a poor mans Joe Frazier or Mike Tyson.
Sanders was basically an earnie shavers,a one dimensional fighter with a big punch.

Wlad would lose by KO badly to a guy like Cooney.
What do you say if a dominant champion at 'only' 35, fights a contender with a record of 15-0, having been KD'ed twice in his previous bout and then this champion struggles badly to earn a decision? Would that champion be able to dominate in another era?

What would happen if you made this thread following the Pulev fight? Would you then say that no previous champion would be able to so thougroughly dominate and KTFO a deserved no. 1 contender at 39 years of age?

I think he would have beaten in other eras because the division is so weak now. Other eras also had better punchers which has been beneficial to Wlad to be fighting now.

Wlad ****s his pants whenever he faces a hard puncher. He's basically failed against the majority of the ones he's faced. There's nobody around today who can fight on the inside or even throw a decent uppercut. Wlad back in the 90s would have gotten sparked by someone like Tua or Mercer and he'd have gone back to Germany and we'd never hear about him again.

doubt very much jennings would have lasted more than 5 rounds against a younger prime wlad. wlad is nearly 40 yrs old and well past his best

Well wlad plays it safe like most greats did....age has nothing to do with it,its what you do with the age...experience and so forth..wlad hasn't really slowed down despite what you hear...in his case like Lewis he is a smarter /better fighter now/older...less aggressive but that doesn't make a better fighter in his case...yes I think if Wlad goes for the k.o he gets it early ,however hes not that type of fighter...keep in mind when he wants one "REALLY" he gets it he had a 90% k.o record or so not to long ago.Throw away all garbage on this forum with certain individuals who don't like a certain guy based on his background and your left with a few select that actually know how to analyze styles and eras.

Your joking, Tua & Mercer would both be knocked out by Wlad. Most of the opponents Wlad has beaten would beat Tua & Mercer who were both very limited.

                Lmao...

No one is knocking out prime tua or mercer... Byrd and Povetkin are about the only guys that Wlad has beaten that could beat tua or mercer

And you do realize that Wlad already fought mercer long ago when mercer was completely shot.. First time mercer was ever stopped

Anyone who lists David Haye as one of his finest victories is really scraping the barrel.
