If not to me, so I know HOF creates great interest among lots of boxing fans, so I’d better keep my mouth shut.

Quite a revolutionary thing youtube has been. Not many years ago, collecting boxing films was a very expensive pleasure. Now it’s all there, just a mouse click away.
I know there were many great fighters that are not in IBHOF yet like Lupe Pintor, Ceferino Garcia, etc. But for me as a young fan (I'm 25 yrs old), the best indicator for us to know that they were a great fighter before, is through their HOF Status. Aside from that, the occasional rankings of the best boxer I read in different site like IBRO, The Ring, ESPN etc. helps me too in knowing they were great fighters of the old era. That is why for me, adding their status as HOF would help us young fans to catch up to the great fights before.

If BoxRec did this, I think they should restrict it to IBHOF only. Whenever HOFers are discussed, I believe it's more or less implied, that we're only talking about members of the IBHOF. Besides, WBHOF went out of business several years ago... so no new members will be inducted there.

Sure, Wiki-pejia will change its editing policy so you can choose what fights to watch. Why don't you send them the request with a donation attached?
