As far as kid chocolate goes Sugar Ray Robinson said once that he thought kid chocolate was the best fighter he had ever seen and he actually studied Chocolate and incorporated alot of Chocolate's techniques in to his own arsenal.Comment

Biased or not, going by what's available of him on film, contemporary fight reports/opinions, and by browsing his record, it's pretty easy to rate Pep as the best in this division for all-time...Unless somebody absolutely spectacular comes along sometime in the future and dominates this division like no other, Pep will be my number one Featherweight until the end of my days (besides maybe Robinson & Wilde in their respective best divisions, he's about the clearest number one out there for me).
You've come up with a excellant looking list too, Brockton, and it seems the only difference we really have is me probably giving more credit to both Dixon & McGovern as Bantamweights than Featherweights (Dixon defended the Featherweight title plenty of times while weighing in under the modern Bantamweight limit...Also McGovern beat Dixon while both weighed around 116, so again, I count that more on his Bantamweight resume)...Both would rank very high amongst my list of the greatest Bantamweights in history, as I'd have no problem including them in my top five in that division.Comment

that doesnt make any sense. armstrong was A HUGE FEATHERWEIGHT AND DOMINATED THE DIVISION.
armstrong was a small 133lb welterweight. how the hell's he gonna be able to beat some of the all time great welters like HUGE 137lb tommy hearns or leonard weighing 133lb?
armstrong was FAR more effective at featherweight, and historians agree with me.Comment
