I wish I could find the article but there was a 5'6 130lb (in that area) shot put competitor they measured the punching power of and he was over 200psi harder than Tyson's punch. I realize that he's not a boxer but that's one hell of a punch.

shavers almost koed iron jaw ali with a single punch, had it not been for ali waving him forward n tricking him ali would have been koed foreman couldnt wobble ali

bailey sent guys to the ground in a way no other boxer ever has, that ive seen at least he had very little skill and still became a champion due to obserd power

            wheres your logic boy?

No but Frazier dropped him. George Foreman even said that Frazier was the only guy he was afraid to fight.

If Shavers hit the hardest he would have knocked Ali out,at that time Ali was showing sighns of parkinsons and he was a shell of himself .Foreman never really landed but a few face shots to Ali bouncing off the ropes ,big difference ,Foreman mainly hit Alis elbows and body.I would give power edge to Foreman over Shavers based on knocking out better opposition .

Shavers couldn't knock down Tillis, Tyson did.
Shavers couldn't knock out Holmes, Tyson did.

"He punches harder than Earnie Shavers," Tillis said as Tyson came into the interview room after the fight. "Boy, you punch harder than...."

                  Holmes says the other way.

                  Who to believe?
